Did gallery stats die? Mine haven't come up for a while now. I checked a few other deviants and theirs aren't working either.

This stinks. It's silly, I know, but I really hate predicability. I like to check the times and days I upload deviations and keep it spread around. I know Saturday's pretty well represented but I can't remember how Sunday falls. Not that it really matters, I need to take new pics (and I don't want to). I do this, make tons of pieces then get overwhelmed with the amount of photography needed. Photgraphy isn't as fun as it used to be.

I've decided to add clip-on style earrings to my store. Someone on one of my forums commented that there isn't a decent selection for steampunks. She has a point, there isn't. I though, hey I'll just convert some of my pierced styles, no sweat. WRONG, very, very wrong! (Such fun, humbling things like this.) The engineering of a clip style versus earwire is different for lots of reasons. (Different how? Try it, nothing beats hands on experience.)


Completely unrelated - we're being invaded by box elder bugs. *ick* Every year it's something. Ladybugs one year, spiders another. Last year it was concrete ants (little tiny buggers). Earlier this year it was carpenter ants. Those I killed with extreme prejudice, nasty things. Now it's these stupid black and red beasties. You can't spray for them, just seal any openings. Guh, this house is over 40 years old. I'd have to hermetically seal it to stop every opening. I'm sealing what I can and vacuuming up the ones that do get in. You'd think the cats would be having a field day. No such luck, ours are too lazy.

At least it's not bees. *knock on wood*
